Second album. Classical and Heavy Metal influences incorporated into Swedish Death Metal. For the ones who once liked Metallica, early Entombed and the idea of Morbid Angel; the rawness of Repugnant and obscurity of Kaamos.
Yet this record has a sound that is not bound to any region or country, nor influence. Necrovation is above sounding to alike any of these bands. Lyrically they show romanticism for death and the beyond, without cliché gore themes. That is one thing that separates them from the vast majority of nonsense zombie horror. Not to mention the more organic performance as a band, with a soundscape that is somewhat laid back. Still rotten and distasteful, in a way that is the only old school attribute the band possesses.
