Fred F. I enjoyed this album. I've heard some criticism that fans don't like the vocals. I do. Karyn Crisis' choice to restrict her performance to a more conservative (for her) approach here allows the music to shine through. And that music is beautiful.

Jeremy Saville Doesn't hold up to "A Pain Necessary to Know" by any means. A reasonable album by some great musos. Vocals are a bit off stylistically. Favorite track: Shaped By Darkness.
