On this stellar album there is a song.
Every time I hear this song something dies in me only to be reborn and to die again, struggling.

I have this album physical (and practically worn it out thin with multiple plays) but now that they're about to release their next one I'm taking the opportunity to re-buy it just to inform the metalverse how deliriously I love this song.

It's special. And pay attention to the lyrics, please. Favorite track: Ashes Remain.

Ippocalyptica Blaze of Perdition have gone from strength to strength, with this album being even better than Near Death Revelations. This is the band’s most dynamic, progressive, and emotional effort, with creation and release of tension to rival the likes of Ulcerate and The Ruins of Beverast. This is also among the best-produced of Polish black metal albums, with an absolutely massive, crystal clear, and powerful atmosphere, and the one of the best drum recordings in the business. Essential listening. Favorite track: Ashes Remain.

Fourth studio album from Polish black metallers Blaze Of Perdition, crowning a decade of romancing darkness and death.

The successor to "Near Death Revelatons" (2015) features four new songs with a playing time of approximately 45 minutes.

Blaze Of Perdition solidified their position as one the most interesting young acts of the genre, over the course of three studio albums. In 2013, a tragic road accident took the life of bassist Ikaroz and left vocalist S. and drummer Vizun severely injured. Through a loss of a friend and a near-death experience, the band found strength to let the feelings deepen into music and record a reflective album, "Near Death Revelations". The group's creative yet methodical approach gave birth to a dark, enigmatic unity, that continues to mature and explore the genre more and more, with "Conscious Darkness" being their latest offering.

The recordings of "Conscious Darkness" were completed in June of 2017, with final mixes and mastering done at Satanic Audio Studio, and cover artwork drawn by Karmazid. Layout was prepared by Kontamination Design, while I fot. aleksandra burska shot new band photos.
