I love when black metal bands take artistic chances, get ambitious & somehow the playing matches the scope of the songwriting. "Under Ether" by Ascension is a good example - where every song is a interconnected piece of the larger whole, while at the same time having enough hooks & melodies for repeated plays. Also, as someone who has an admittedly high standard for guitar players, each solo, lead line & fill is untouchable. A breath of fresh air. Garmonbozia = Pain & Sorrow... see David Lynch.
