Madeline v. F. GREAT album. Just close your eyes and let the roar of protracted minor chords wash over you like an unholy benediction. One of the vocal styles in use here is not typically my thing -- but I found in this case it only required the tiniest brain nudge to totally dig them. Favorite track: Tamed Brute.

Colin M. A monstrous album of unbridled sludgey, doomy fury. The tracks never grow stale despite their length, leaving you pummeled and genuflecting before the real king of the beasts. Favorite track: The Portals.

Hallowed be Thy Tunes The clashing of drums signals the return. A monolith of black fur and scarred flesh starts to rise in the forest of Man. The earth trembles. The caps of distant mountains crumble and fall. A ferocious roar rips through, commanding all to obey the ever-growing shadow. The eyes of the beast open, it's inner light is blinding. This brute will not be tamed. Favorite track: Tamed Brute.

Максим Назарян One of the few doom sludge bands that can keep me engaged for 10+ minutes at a time. Equal parts crushing and foreboding with great vocals. Favorite track: Sole Creation.
