bcb723 I heard a recent 2021 metal album that was, in two words, fucking atrocious (hint - the band starts with "Kos" & has some of the worst album art in recent memory). With the sound of that shitty album still ringing in my ears, I went to my go-to band to wash it away: Blaze of Perdition. This album is just so deep, complex & epic with my favorite Sonneillon vocals to date. But definitely check "Ashes Remain" the next time you hear a superficial band trying too hard. It will make you believe again. Favorite track: Ashes Remain.

The Ash Heritor If Regarde Les Hommes Tomber and Mgla had an accursed hellchild, it would be this album. And by the obscene light of cosmic chaos, it is a beautiful child. All four tracks are bloody masterpieces, and convey the dark grandeur that I so desire in the music I listen. This album is most certainly going on my regular rotation along with the abovementioned bands, Mephorash, and Schammadsch.

Fourth studio album from Polish black metallers Blaze Of Perdition, crowning a decade of romancing darkness and death.

The successor to "Near Death Revelatons" (2015) features four new songs with a playing time of approximately 45 minutes.

Blaze Of Perdition solidified their position as one the most interesting young acts of the genre, over the course of three studio albums. In 2013, a tragic road accident took the life of bassist Ikaroz and left vocalist S. and drummer Vizun severely injured. Through a loss of a friend and a near-death experience, the band found strength to let the feelings deepen into music and record a reflective album, "Near Death Revelations". The group's creative yet methodical approach gave birth to a dark, enigmatic unity, that continues to mature and explore the genre more and more, with "Conscious Darkness" being their latest offering.

The recordings of "Conscious Darkness" were completed in June of 2017, with final mixes and mastering done at Satanic Audio Studio, and cover artwork drawn by Karmazid. Layout was prepared by Kontamination Design, while I fot. aleksandra burska shot new band photos.

The Best Batushka album so far. A Black Metal Classic!!! There are few albums that I can listen to from start to finish without skipping a track and this is on the top of the list. You almost have to listen to the album as a whole. Do yourself a favor and buy this album The true follow up to this album is Krzysztof Drabikowski Панихида (Panihida). Bart's Раскол / Raskol EP is also a good follow up to this album as well just not as close as Panihida sounds. 10/10 ChrestusV
