Ken Goodey I decided to buy this (and Mut) after listening to a couple of tracks on BC and skimming a couple of reviews. It was the style of the vocals and the overall feel that drew me in, as it reminded me of Akercocke in places. I realised later that the vocalist also sang on DHG's Supervillain Outcast, which is an album I already know and like. The song structures are pleasingly proggy, combining elements of classic rock/metal with a mix of clean 'n' growled vocals and a good, clear production. Favorite track: Black Rumination.

resistant Could benefit from a remaster, especially upper frequencies.. maybe it was an artistic choice, who knows...overall a very good album!!
